Terms of use

Last updated 3 October 2026. First 90 Paws is run by Paws90.

General guidance, not professional advice

First 90 Paws gives general information to help you plan for a pet. It isn't veterinary, legal or financial advice. If you're worried about an animal's health, contact a vet straight away.

Costs are estimates

Cost figures are typical prices for the country you choose (the UK, Ireland, the United States or Canada), checked in October 2026. Your real costs will depend on the animal, breed, where you live and your vet, and can vary a lot between cities, states and provinces. The affordability result is a guide, not a guarantee.

Rules and laws

We summarise the main national rules for the country you choose as they stood when last checked. Many rules are set locally (by your nation, state, province, county or city) and they change. Check with your local council or government for the current position.

Using the app

You can use First 90 Paws for your own, non-commercial use. Please don't copy the content or use it to build a competing product without permission.

Free version and full access

First 90 Paws is free to download and use. Some features, such as your ranked matches, fit checks, cost options, the 90-day plan and local rules, need full access, which is a one-off in-app purchase through Google Play. It isn't a subscription. Full access is linked to your Google account, so you can restore it on a new phone with "Restore purchase". Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy; if something doesn't work as described, email us and we'll help. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

Guess the Breed

Your scores stay on your phone. Photos belong to their authors and are used under free licences; each photo links to its credits.

Adverts and affiliate links

Links marked "Ad" may earn us a commission. They don't change the price you pay. Sponsors and affiliates never change our welfare advice, costs or checklists.

Liability

We work hard to keep the content accurate but can't promise it's complete or error-free. So far as the law allows, we're not liable for losses from relying on it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep any consumer rights the law where you live gives you.
